Great recommendation, thank you Jesse - purchased. Reminded me a little of Earl Zinger's "Speaker Stack Commandments" and Yes King's "Rock This World."

Yes King were such a dope act! Shame there hasn't been more than the two albums. Earl Zinger also great but don't think I know that tune. Will check it.

From what I read, Michael pretty much played everything as well. What a talent. I'm going to give Zinger a listen - that's a new one for me. Cheers

Love the Butch Cassidy stuff! Earl Zinger is Rob Gallagher from projects such as Galliano, Two Banks of Four and the criminally slept on act (it seems at least) The Diabolical Liberties. His solo stuff as Earl is brilliant.

Yes King were Mark Rae (of Rae and Christian on Grand Central Records) and Rhys Adams (aka Frankie Valley). Rae left for the second album so it was just Adams and had less of the hip hop and soul elements that Rae brought, leaning more into the reggae, dub, and dancehall elements of the first album. As @kaptin Barrett noted, both albums are good, though I liked the first one - Rock This World - the best.

https://www.discogs.com/release/328064-Earl-Zinger-Speaker-Stack-Commandments. It's very eclectic, but definitely rooted in soundsystem culture.

I like the lead guitar and whistle parts. And the mix is amazing. It sounds like there are digital, anolog, and lofi elements, and they all fit nicely in the mix. That can be a challenge. Great track. Inspiring!
