Thank Jesse, always enjoyed the he did with Rej Forte and G.T. Moore on the Jah Works label, the drum programming and synths used in those productions sound great... Id like to know the drum machine he uses, very distinct, very punchy. Alesis HR 16 if I had to guess, Same one Russ used on the purple Disciples LP for Shaka
A consistent source of positive music and vibes, is Martin. He's truly stood the test of time and excelled, all whilst being a humble soul....What a joy this will be to fill my ears and mind....Bless up Jesse, always...
Do you have any radio station recommendations?
There's are some excellent shows out there. Of course, David Rodigan and Don Letts on BBC Radio, Dr Strangedub on KFAI https://kfai.org/personality/dr-strangedub/
There are plenty more, just depends on what you're stylistic preferences are.
Thanks

You'd probably have more info on that. The only thing I could dig up was - possibly, including your guess of the Alesis -
Roland TR‑808
Akai MPC Series (MPC60, MPC3000)
Roland R‑8 or TR‑909
Wicked Rule has a really punchy, tight sound so with one of the above and compression and maybe a touch of gating, that'd get close to the sound
Yes, R-8 is a possibility as well.
