Dennis Bovell

From the Slits to Arcade Fire, LKJ to Steel Pulse, and having been part of the musical landscape for over 50 years, this musician, songwriter, Dub Maestro, producer, and remixer is not only one of the foundational members of the UK reggae scene but also an international icon and institution. Like most he got his start playing in bands he played in soul and rock bands he formed a hendrix tribute band also started his sound system called jaw sufferer went on to co-form matumbi produced a string of artists too long to list right now I've mentioned a couple he's remixed artists such as marvin gay wet wet wet boomtown rats arcade fire and on and on it goes and as i mentioned before

He's an icon, a legend, and he remains so to this day.
